Description
Wood Storks, like many birds, are listed as threatened or endangered due to loss of habitat and other factors. The adults have a bald, leathery head and neck. The juvenile has grayish brown feathers on its head and neck. To me, these homely, prehistoric-looking birds have an awkward grace and a beauty all their own.

AH! I LOVE this!!! You love colors just like I do :) they are happy and beautiful! I wish I could paint. maybe one day I'll try. I am so used to colored pens and markers and ink. I did one painting with my paints. a couple of years ago. and I used my fingers instead of brushes :) and stuck it in the hall. lol :)

Thanks, Rhonda! If painting is something you really want to do, you would be a natural!
